Description

Surround forms a coating on fruits that prevents the harmful effects of sunlight, making it a cost-effective alternative to bagging in crops like mangoes and pomegranate.
Surround allows the transmission of UV rays responsible for fruit coloring, providing good coloration while blocking harmful IR rays.
Surround offers a protective cover for plants against many piercing-sucking insects, reducing the need for insecticides.
Surround is used in organic farming and integrated pest management and is certified by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) in the USA as an insect protection agent.
Surround is applied to grapevines after harvest to protect against intense heat in southern Egypt during summer storage feeding.
Surround effectively protects vegetables that are washed or peeled from sunburn, such as watermelon, melon, cantaloupe, cucumber, tomato, and eggplant.
Surround coverage on leaves during vegetative growth allows for photosynthesis in high temperatures, which is beneficial for tomatoes.
Surround helps maintain seedling growth in nurseries during high summer temperatures, especially in Upper Egypt.

Fruit Trees:

Mango, pomegranate, apple, guava, citrus (especially mandarin), plum.
- Application Rate: 2-3 kg/100 L of water (2% solution). The first spray should be at 3 kg/100 L of water two weeks before the heat waves, followed by repeated applications every 14 days with concentration 1.5 kg/100 L of water (1.5% solution).

Vegetables:

- Application Rate: To protect fruits from sunburn, use 2.5 kg/100 L of water (2.5% solution) after fruit setting, and to protect the plant from high temperatures, use 1.5 kg/100 L of water (1.5% solution) every 10 days.
Vegetable and Fruit Nurseries:
- Application Rate: To protect from high temperatures, apply every 10 days with 2.5 kg/100 L of water (2.5% solution) for vegetables and 1.5 kg/100 L of water (1.5% solution) for fruit.

Note: The final and appropriate usage rates are determined and adjusted based on the crop type.
