Symptoms of manganese deficiency

The critical concentration of manganese reaches 20 parts per million, and when the concentration is lower than that, the following deficiency symptoms appear on plants:

1. Yellowing between the veins that starts on the young leaves first and then spreads to the others.
2. The very fine veins retain their green color giving a retinal yellow that may turn white.
3. In citrus, deficiency symptoms appear in the form of dark green areas along the middle and side veins, While the spaces between them appear in a pale green color with a decrease in the length of the internodes or the area of the leaf.
